Welcome!

Welcome to our home and welcome to Digby Nova Scotia. Before you start our virtual tour please take a moment glance over our personal notes. Why don’t we begin by introducing ourselves?

We are John and Lynda. We decided to move here a few years ago. Lynda grew up further up the valley in New Minas. Lynda’s mom, Ginny grew up a few kilometers away in Bear River. For many years we dreamed of moving back to Lynda’s roots. This became a reality in early 2009. We immediately got to work taking our new home and renovating it using nothing but quality materials and professional trades people. Our intention was to ease into retirement in a nice home surrounded by all the beauty and good people that is Nova Scotia. Sadly for us our dream was interrupted by career commitments. With great difficulty we decided we had no choice but to move. However, we believe that there is someone out there that will make our home their own and love it and the area, as do we.

About The Asking Price

We felt it was important to price the house at fair market value, after talking to various Real Estate agents, looking at comparables and an unofficial talk with a certified appraiser from the Royal Bank we chose the lower side of the consensus to facilitate a quicker sale of this property. The asking price of 259,000 includes all fixtures and appliances upstairs and down. We are flexible on the closing date and would consider a partial trade on a house or property within 40 min of the Dartmouth area. Conditional offers are acceptable with a reasonable escape clause.
